August 10, 2013: Updated pages to use 'bookkeeping' rather than 'book-keeping', the exceptions being references to the IAB and to qualifications.
August 07, 2013: Completed external server page by describing how to generate key pairs on the user's computer. Clarification updates to the Support page.
August 06, 2013: Continued external server page by describing how to set up public key authentication on the server and creating key pairs on remote computer, and started to describe creating key pairs on the user's computer,
August 05, 2013: Minor edits to the internal server page and updates to the external server page to explain configuring the user and remote computers, with the changes needed for public key authentication to be added later. Started describing how to configure the server to use public key authentication.
August 04, 2013: Minor edits to the internal server and external server pages to improve layout on very small displays – very long character sequences without an obvious line break have been split. Reduced indentation on small displays.
August 03, 2013: Corrected typos and minor edits on the internal server page, updated the external server page.
August 02, 2013: Added a sitemap page, xml sitemap and robots.txt files. Simplified the menu which now always includes a link to the sitemap. Fixed the map page rendering of map images as the browser window width is changed. Completed the description for using remote desktop over a secured link via an internal server. Created scalable diagrams showing schemes for using remote desktop over secured links, with fallback to linked bit-map images. Changed all pages to remove the <footer> tag as it causes many online validators to barf. Added a separate footnote section where required rather than include footnotes with the footer information.
July 25, 2013: Added a link to a map page suitable for printing since Firefox doesn't take the hint.
July 24, 2013: Added an introduction to detailed descriptions for configuring remote desktop connections over an encrypted link plus stubs for detailed implementation notes when using internal and external servers, added a sitemap page. Improved layout for list entries.
July 22, 2013: Corrected javascript for map page when handling screen size changes so that repeated events that cause no change to the content are filtered out. Noticed the remaining issue in this area is when changing content causes a vertical scrollbar to appear or disappear, which in turn changes the body width. This could be fixed using hysteresis in the current algorithm or by adding a time-based system as previously mooted. Partial fix for printing map page using alternate page but this is not supported by some common browsers.
July 21, 2013: Updated stylesheet, map page uses javascript to select static image files based on pixel width of body area, degrades gracefully if javascript and/or stylesheets are disabled. Needs time-based filtering to avoid some frequent updates. Detailed image substitution for printing not yet working. All this to make downloading and displaying content quicker without the downsides of various alternative techniques tested previously.
July 15, 2013: Corrected html code and added viewport meta-tag on all pages, improved alternate text for iframe tag on map page.
July 12, 2013: Updated the stylesheet to use a narrower text area to make it easier to read, updated the default map view to accurately show the service area, hid the horizontal separator line at foot of each page, and fixed a typo on the support page.
